  • Will taking dual enrollment classes prevent me from earning a scholarship?

    Posted by:

Earning dual enrollment credits usually doesn't prevent students from earning scholarships, but there are so many scholarships available, it's impossible to simply answer yes or no. If this is a concern for you, the best thing for you to do is reach out to the college/university you plan to attend in order to check.

As of April 2025, here are limits for freshman scholarships:

    Troy University--no credit limits

Auburn University--no credit limits as long as coursework was taken before graduation

University of Alabama--60 credit hour limit
